The Sisters of Mercy had an influence on Catholic Schools by teaching all the staff at All Hallows how to create a religious educational place for them to be learning in.
Where did this Order Originate from?
The Religious Sisters of Mercy were members of a religious institute of catholic women founded in 1831 in Dublin, Ireland by Catherine Mc Auley (1778 - 1841)

The founder of the Sisters Of Mercy was Catherine Mc Auley. She founded the Sisters Of Mercy because she was determined to provide an education for all young girls and women. Catherine founded The Sisters of Mercy on the 12 of December, 1831.
