Sidenote
-Past Participle: The past participle, called le participe passé in French, is very similar in French and English.
-The French past participle usually ends in -é, -i, or -u, while its English equivalent usually ends in -ed or -en. The past participle has three main uses in French. We will only discuss two.

1. AUXILIARY VERB = LE PASSE COMPOSE
Ex) J'ai travaillé hier.
I worked yesterday.
2. ETRE = PASSIVE VOICE
Ex) Le ménage est fait tous les jours.
The housework is done every day.

Le Passe Compose
The DR MRS VANDERTRAMP verbs are the only verbs that use Etre (to be) as the helping or auxillary verb.
In this lesson I will also be talking about Le Passe Compose (which I will explain later).
Infinitives: An infinitive is the basic or unconjugated form of a verb. It is also known as the name of the verb.

Le Passe Compose is a tense which is used to describe the past, completed tasks or even used in story telling. You will have to identify and conjugate your auxiliary verb, and then use the past participle form of your main verb, as well as correctly place any modifiers and object nouns/pronouns.
