It is a film about the human condition in extreme situations.We can see values and anti-values, such as solidarity and cruelty.In the film highlight two elements that make it unique, war as the worst human being with all its consequences, and on the other the opposite, art as beautiful and fragile as the human, Szpilman played by the artist.
He was born in France in 1933.

The Pianist is a 2002 film directed by Roman Polanski and starring Adrien Brody and Thomas Kretschmann. The film is an adaptation of the memoirs of Polish Jewish musician Władysław Szpilman. He received in 2002 the Golden Palm at the Cannes International Film Festival, and won three Academy Awards: Best Director, Best Actor and Best Adapted Screenplay, a total of seven nominations. He was also awarded seven French film Cesar Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor
