A puppy is born blind ,deaf , and toothless. Mothers can have up to 2-13 puppys at a time. The earliest know fossil of a domestic dog is from 31,700 years ago. Plus found in Belgium. Also they protected there owners. Dogs can not eat chocolate, onion, garlic, grapes, raisins, macadamia nuts, xylitol, and various plants and other potentially ingested materials. Also caffeine can be harmful. A mans best friend, A dog! Did you know? That apple and pear seeds are DEADLY to dogs! Dogs are thought to have very long memorys, similar to ours, There are 3 types of memory.
short- term memory(can hold info for 30 seconds),sensory memory(which can hold fleeding impressions and can be triggerd by sound) and long term memory, which can hold lots of memory! Dogs can live 10 years or more. The size and breed of the dog may change how long they can live! Fur,Bones,Tails! What else? There are many types of tails:
straight,sickle,curled,and cork-screw. Also in some breeds a very short tail or no tail at all. The tail is a communication tool.
It helps them interact with other dogs. Did You Know? Dogs have too long body for only two legs.So they have 4 legs to help them walk! Dogs need different sized ears because they need them for better hearing. The cuddly and ADORABLE! Who won't want one? They have fur and it's SUPER soft! Do you want one? The myth is that when dogs lick their wounds it gets rid of the dead tissue. So that wounds heal faster!So you should not be afraid of licks, they might be gross but there not dangerous. Dogs mouths are cleaner than ours? Dogs NEED fur to keep them warm it the winter. There are two types of coats "double"-made of guard hair and down hair for dogs that live in colder places.Or "single" with the topcoat,which is for summer only! Paw Pads! And sweat! Did you know that dogs sweat through their paws?

They expel heat through them instead of anywhere else in there body. Just keep swimming! All dogs know how to swim even if they like it or not! Running lose! Their
shoulder blades are unttached to the rest of the skeleton for greater flexibity for running. Did you know? When dogs run they almost fly because they are going so fast? Hearing! Dogs have awesome and keen hearing
(some breeds more than others)and when they hear something it's almost like using a radar screen. Movement 4 Do things bug dogs? Yes, Every dog and living thing has some of irritation.
dogs have MANY! irrtability 4 Dogs HATE cats! Why you say, Here's why Dogs and cats generally have a different social life. A dog is a social animal ,While a cat is an indepentent outside life. WOOF Dogs vocalize to communicate with humans and to express themselves. Ahh...Choo! Human Allergic reaction to dogs are the results of hypersensitivity to proteins found in a dog's hair, saliva and dander-a. A material made of dead skin cells. Wag-Wag... Do you know why dogs way their tail, I do, Here's why... Sometimes because they want to be pet or it's a sign that you should back off.
