What's The Issue?
"The population of a species increases when births outnumber deaths within the population."
Atlanta, Georgia
The Large City
Human population has remained relatively stable because although women may have had many children, most of them died.

"The Total Fertility Rate" (TFR, the number of children a woman bears in her lifetime) has dropped in many countries, especially in developed countries.

"These numbers will ultimately result in a lower population size."

On the upside, the total fertility rates and number of family members in each family are decreasing throughout the world. This does not mean that our population is stabilized though! It is still a large issue! And needs to be addressed!

How many grandchildren were mentioned? What were their ages? Were there more grandchildren than children?
