Get your club ready for the upcoming year!
At some point, your club's leadership is going to change. Whether this happens in the spring, summer, or fall, there are some important documents you need to update when it happens!
Preparing the future leaders of your club will keep your club in good standing!
Know that changes are coming. Know where to make those changes!
You're going to want the "Update Club Info" Form
There's lots of other information you can update too - like your club's social media links, and your club's email address.
Be sure to check the form out!

Be aware of the Policies and Procedures
Several forms and documents need to be updated each year, starting on July 1st,
, if your leadership changes.
For all clubs, this is the signature card.

It does not roll over into the next Fiscal Year.

How do I request a Grant?
There are deadlines and rules that you'll need to keep in mind, but most importantly, your club needs to be eligible for funding.
You'll also need to submit a
purchase request to the Business & Accounting Office (58E/3409).

Generally, the signature card looks like this:
Note the Fiscal Year (FY).
UNF's Fiscal Year runs from July 1st to June 30th.
The Signature Card is a statement of financial understanding.
Funding-eligible clubs will be able to request a grant from a large pot of money.
Up to $1,000 per request
Advisors Signature only needed if requesting more than $500
Each request will be heard by the Club Funding Board
The Club Funding Board will hear requests in person, over the phone, through instant messenger - it doesn't matter how it happens, as long as the board can ask you questions in real time.
If you've ever done a Budget Boost - it's kindof like that.
There will be no budgets ($300 or more) allocated for the upcoming year!
Only grants will be allocated after July 1st!!
Generally, a Purchase Request looks something like this:
Every club can be eligible for Student Government Funding after July 1st!
What is the timeline for requesting and expending?
Always request in advance!
Submit request to the Business & Accounting Office
Request goes through approval process
Present to the Club Funding Board
Board's Decision goes through approval process
Request is approved, denied, or line-item vetoed
At this point, you can submit a Purchase Request (this will get you reimbursed, or tell UNF to order the goods)
University Ordered Goods (printed materials, banners, etc.) arrive
For reimbursement, you have 10 business days from the time you purchase the goods to submit a PR

We know that funding is complicated, and can be confusing - but we'd rather walk you through the process, than see you make a mistake!
How do I know if I'm eligible for SG Funding?
Your club must:
be in good standing
attend all the meetings
have all the correct paperwork in our office
pass the SG Funding Quiz online
Keep in mind:
This funding comes from all students. Because of that, all students must be eligible to access the goods or services.
(Ex: If your club charges dues, purchase food for an event that any student can attend)
