Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
3 bell peppers - red, yellow and orange
2 cups of white mushrooms - chopped
1/8 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1 can of crushed tomatoes
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 lb. ground beef
Preparing the sauce base
1: In a medium pot, combine spices, tomatoes and Parmesan cheese and bring to a slight boil on medium-high heat stirring constantly

2: Once the base starts to boil reduce heat to low, cover and stir occasionally
Preparing the ground beef
1: In a frying pan, brown ground beef on medium heat continuously
2: When ready, line a colander with paper towel and strain cooked meat
3: Pat and squeeze additional fat out with a folded paper towel
4: Add to sauce
Preparing the Veggies
Peppers + Mushrooms
1: Cut peppers in half and remove all seeds and stems.
2: Chop peppers

into approximately 1/4 inch cubes
3: Slice mushrooms horizontally in half and then in half again
4: Sautee peppers and mushrooms in butter or margarine until they are seared
5: Stir into sauce

Your sauce can be added to any kind of pasta you like, rotini for fun, penne for a date, or spaghetti for a nice wholesome meal
