The heat sink is a fan that cools everything in the computer.
Ram is used as short term memory that erases when you shut off the computer.
This is the hard drive storage, it is used for long term storage, it holds things like documents etc..
The Ports are used to plug in things, headphones the monitor, etc.
The slots are used for sliding components like a card, directly into the computer.
A computer needs a power supply unit to function, the psu gets power from electrical outlets to power the computer.
The computers battery powers a chip called a real time clock even when you have the computer turned off, it was still be on. When the computer turns on, it will check the rtc for the time.
The chassis is the hard outer case of the computer which protects everything inside of it, including the hard drive, the and the ram.
An optical disk drive can hold Cd's, DvD's and many other Cd like objects.
The graphic support: A graphic card translate data to make a picture into a format to makes a picture on the monitor.
A keyboard is used to type information into the computer.
The mouse is used to navigate and interact with the computer.
A visual display is the monitor of the computer, it shows you images that the graphic support created.
