entice people to move to the USA... The United States of America is a "nation of immigrants." Why have immigrants come to the US from all over the world? They may not have the things they need. They may not have the things they want. They may feel unsafe. war crime unfair government poverty famine drought lack of
housing education land jobs freedom They want a better life for themselves and their families freedom of
speech freedom of
religion jobs education a fair
government adventure a fresh
start to be with
relatives who already moved Whatever their reason for coming to America, immigrants are happy to see the Statue of Liberty, a symbol of freedom and hope! A welcome sight!
