The Queen are a British rock band that formed in London in 1970
The members are:
Freddie Mercury
(lead vocals, piano),

Brian May
(lead guitar, vocals),

Roger Taylor
(drums, vocals),

John Deacon
(bass guitar).

They started playing progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal, but the band gradually changed and played pop rock.
Mercury joined the band in 1970, he suggested the name "Queen" as a new band name.

The band's 1977 album News of the World contained "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions", which have become anthems at sporting events.
By the early 1980s, Queen were one of the biggest stadium rock bands in the world.
The band have released a total of 18 albums, 18 singles, and 10 DVDs.

Freddie Mercury and Brian May were the main authors of the songs of the band.
The emblem of the Queens, also known by the English term “ Queen Crest “, was designed by Freddie Mercury.
Queen's star is on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6358 Hollywood Boulevard.
