Transcript of Bruce Trail Expedition

Done By: Julia Sangueza Bruce Trail Expedition The Bruce Trail has been around for 50 years now, and to celebrate it's anniversary, four philanthropists have decided to walk the full Bruce Trail. Why are these four men completing this journey?

The purpose of this journey is to raise awareness of the trail and to support inner-city kids. Who are the hikers and how long will it take to walk the full Bruce Trail?

Fred Losani, Peter Turkstra, Mark MacLennan and Teemu Lakkasuo are walking the 900 km main trail. It will take 30 days to accomplish, with completing 30km per day. Is there more to the Bruce Trail, and how many people visit per year?

The side trails are approximately 400 km, with over 400,000 people each year visiting the Bruce Trail just to hike and experience the beauty of nature. Who was the person who thought to make the Bruce Trail?

Thanks to Raymond Lowes, who envisioned a plan for a trail to stretch from Niagara to Tobermory, we have our beautiful Bruce Trail in our hometown. Sources Cited:
