Business Concept
The Sweet Buzz is a cafe style restaurant that specializes in alcohol infused, traditional, and custom cupcakes. We also cater special events such as birthday parties, weddings, etc.

Our Customers are anyone who enjoys cupcakes, especially those who are twenty one and over.

Customers are able to satisfy their sweet tooth, enjoy great food in a fun environment, and have a drink or two.

Business Concept
Customers are able to purchase cupcakes as well as food and other desserts in store. The Sweet Buzz also offers a catering service. Large dessert orders, such as those that are a dozen or more, must be placed up to two weeks prior to the delivery or pick up date. Orders are taken in-store and may include a tasting and consultation.

The Sweet Buzz is not your traditional bakery. Our main focus is to provide custom treats for our customers.

One initial location in the DC Metropolitan area: open seven days a week. Sunday- 11am-8pm. Mon-Thurs.- 11am-10pm. Fri-Sat.- 11am-12:30am.

The purpose of the marketing plan is to create awareness for The Sweet Buzz, which will sell unique flavored cupcakes and other plated desserts with high quality service at an affordable price.

The target market is local residents and tourists of all ages in the middle and upper income bracket, as well as those who are having or planning any type of special event in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.

The unique niche of The Sweet Buzz is it is not limited to traditional flavored cupcakes, however, they serve exclusive flavors and customized cupcake designs with a choice of alcohol infused cupcakes for ages 21 and older. Along with other great tasting plated desserts and appetizers served in a cafe styled restaurant.
The Sweet Buzz offers a mix and match catering package that includes:
delivery ($50)
dessert table setup ($35)
display rentals: Tables ($15 per table), Cupcake Stands ($8 per stand)
"Sweet Sessions"
Once a month, customers are able to spend an evening at The Sweet Buzz customizing their own cupcakes. One creation per event will have the opportunity to be sold in-store the following month. A percentage of the proceeds will be awarded to local charities or organizations.

Customers will also be reached through advertisements and personal reviews posted on social media, such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Also, special holiday promotions and subsequent word-of-mouth will play a part in drawing customers in.

The Sweet Buzz will be identified by a excellent dining experience with a quick response to customer needs in both service and product design, as well as a fun, welcoming atmosphere and superior tasting desserts.
