CHINESE GREEK THE POTTERY OF & Similarities Differences the Black
Figure Style the Blue
& White Pigments Adornment Quality Both of them use only two variations of colors. Both have artistic decorations of events in
everyday life (animals and etc.) Both constructed their ceramics wears in very high quality with fine glaze and beautiful paintings. Pigments Different Era Clay Chinese used blue pigment on white
background while Greek used black pigment on
reddish-orange background. Chinese's Blue and White was initially started in
Ming Dynasty of China while the Black-Figure
Style Greek Pottery started in Corinth, Athens. The clay used to construct both potteries are different both in colors and elements.
