Theme! By: Kacelyn Jolley & Wriley Stott In literature a theme is a message the author conveys in a story about a topic. The main theme in the Outsiders is... The theme of a story is the Main message the writer wishes to share with the reader. This message might even be a lesson about life or human nature. The theme is the best way of an authors prospective. The theme of a fable is it's moral. The theme of a piece of fiction is it's view about life and how people behave. For example if the topic of a story was war,a possible theme could be that war dehuminizes people. Their group is like a family. Some people might even think its a story of hope. Stay true to yourself. Stay golden. Never judge a book by it's cover.
