What is Risk Management?

“Risk management is the process for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risk within an organization, business, or team.  These strategies allow leaders to develop action plans that mitigate risk, therefore, improving the overall quality of their program.”

Evaluate risks by both severity (impact) and probability

This determines the best procedure
to handle these risks
Treatment
Determine the effective method
for managing each risk

Eliminate, limit, or accept risk

Eliminating risk in it's entirely may not be the
best option. The key is to MANAGE and MINIMIZE
