Hamlet the video game
In Hamlet the video game you don't play as Hamlet but a scientist that invented time travel and you time travel to Hamlet's era and help him in his quests. This is a reference to Shakespeare because he made the play Hamlet.
Original Medal of Honor
Medal of Honor is a call of duty style warfare game and on PSX if you enter in the code payback you can play as Shakespeare in multiplayer mode.
Romeo, wherefore art thou?
This is a PC game where you play as Romeo and it is a 2D sidescroller where you have to get to Juliet. This is a Shakespeare reference because shakespeare wrote the play Romeo and Juliet.
Bioshock Infinite
In Bioshock Infinite there is wispering happening in one scene and most people can't make it out but if you play it backwards it is a quote from Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare.
The Simpsons Game
In the Simpsons game for Ps3 you get to play as Bart and in the final level you have to fight Shakespeare.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
In Metal Gear Solid 4 Mei Ling a character from the game quotes Shakespeare by saying “The tongues of dying men enforce attention like deep harmony. Where words are spent, they are seldom spent in vain.” This is a quote from Shakespeare's Richard II.
To Conclude...
Shakespeare is quoted and referenced all over in our culture. Movies, video games, and more. There are more Shakespeare references in video games then I ever thought there would be but people like keeping Shakespeare part of our culture.
