Learn facts, the size and distance of these three interesting things. The Earth, sun and moon The Earth, Sun and Moon THE END! Our earth is one of the nine planets that orbit the Sun. The distance between the Earth and Sun is 149,600,000 km. The distance between the Earth and Moon is 384,400 km. And finally the Moon and sun are 149,215,600 km apart. Distance The size of the Earth is given below: SIZE THANK YOU FOR JOINING US FOROUR PRESENTATION OF THE EARTH, SUN
AND MOON! At the center of our solar system is a star which we call the Sun. The sun is 150 million kilometres away from us. It is massive and
has a diameter of 1 393 000 kilometres. Our sun was probablly
formed from a large cloud of gas about 5000 million years ago. The moon is in orbit round the earth. It takes 28 days for the
moon to orbit the earth. The sun is 150 million km away from us, and the moon is
356,334 km away. Astronomers have taken careful measurements to find this information. Mass - 5.9736×1024kg
Volume - 1.083×1012 km3
Mean diameter - 12,742 km
Surface area - 510,072,000 km2
Density - 5.515 g/cm3
Circumference - 40,041 km

The size of the Sun is written in the following: The Sun's diameter is 864,938 miles (1,391,980 km). This is almost 10 times larger than the planet Jupiter and about 109 times as big as the Earth. The volume of the Sun is 1,299,400 times bigger than the volume of the Earth; about 1,300,000 Earths could fit inside the Sun Done by:
