Original Text
The original text comes from the writings of Plutarch.
He traveled on many adventures until he was too old to
Eventually settled down with his wife Phaedra, Ariadne's sister
His son Hippolytus born by the amazon women he stole earlier in his life scorned Aphrodite and only worshiped Artemis
So Aphrodite made Phaedra fall madly in love with him, but Hippolytus, as always, took no notice of women
Phaedra was ashamed of her love so she wanted to die
Her nurse found out and tried to convince Hippolytus to accept her love
He rejected it and Phaedra committed suicide
Theseus blamed Hippolytus and exiled him causing his death; he later found out Hippolytus was innocent
For the rest of his life, he lived alone and died for unknown reasons, though there are many speculations
Goddess of Love
Punished Hippolytus
Also caused the birth of the minotaur.
