What is BIM?
"Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a process involving the generation and management of digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of places. Building Information Models (BIMs) are files which can be exchanged or networked to support decision-making about a place."
What's that got to do with acoustics?
May 2011: UK Government Chief Construction Adviser calls for BIM adoption on UK government construction projects of £5+million, telling construction professionals to
adopt BIM or be "Betamaxed out".

June 2011: UK government announced its intention to require collaborative 3D BIM (with all project and asset information, documentation and data being electronic) on its projects
by 2016

Learn the language of BIM and talk it to our clients
Be seen as early adopters, leading the acoustics industry
