Transcript of The Gift of Breathing

Breathing
I use my breath for centering and mental clarity.
My breathing may become restricted when experiencing extreme emotional states such as sadness, anger or fear.
Just Breathe
The Gift of Breathing
I take breaks during the day to notice if I am breathing deeply and smoothly.
I look for opportunities to use my breathing to relax and refocus in order to optimize my performance, rather than getting irritated by circumstances beyond my control.
'Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves-slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future. Live the actual moment. Only this moment is life.'
~Thich Nhat Hanh.
I use deep, rhythmic breathing as a means of helping my body heal itself of physical, mental and emotional pain.
When I am experiencing stress I use my breath to help release my tension.
I am at peace with myself.
