Question #1
The Great Wall of China was important in many ways to the world, and China itself. It was finished in 206 B.C. Shi Huangdi made people work on this wall's construction. Thousands died doing this. This wall helped to protect China and kept barbarians out of China. Without this wall, some of the things in this presentation would not be here.

By: Geno Reynosa, Ryan Orth, and Connor Kuykendal (us)

Beverly, Armento. A Message of Ancient Days. Boston:Houghton. Mifflin CO., 1999.
Hart, Diane. Ancient Civilizations. New Jersey. Upper Saddle River. Pearson Prentice Hall, 2006.
Question #3
What was the purpose of the Great Wall of China?
The Great Wall
This was created in the 11th century. It was used in warfare in the 14th century. Gunpowder has changed the world greatly and millions of people use it everyday. Gunpowder is more important than the magnetic compass because the magnetic compass has not changed our country, and other parts of the world.
The most important invention of the Chinese was paper. It is more important than gun powder because lots of people need to use paper for almost everything. It was made in about 100 B.C and it was at first used to wrap items, and was at first made from rags, bark, and leaves.
Magnetic Compass
The magnetic compass was used from221 B.C to A.D. 100. The main purpose of the magnetic compass was for it to find magnetism in nature to find where you were going. It is more important than the great wall because it would help you from getting lost.
Printing began with slabs of wood and stones. This was created and used in around 200 A.D. This was created by Bi Sheng. Printing is more important than the magnetic compass because printers make it easier to give others your work without giving the original. This is less important than gunpowder because gunpowder has changed many wars.
