spot the ghost of the
fallen king. C laudius Claudius is Hamlet's
uncle. He poisoned Hamlet's
father. D enmark Denmark is where the the
story of Hamlet takes place.
Elsinore Castle is located here. E lsinore Castle Elsinore Castle is located in Denmark.
This castle is the setting of Hamlet. F rancisco Francisco is a soldier who
guards Elsinore Castle.
When he guarded the castle,
the ghost of King Hamlet never
appeared. G uildenstern Guildenstern is a courtier. He is one of Hamlet's good friends. H oratio Horatio is a college student. He is also Hamlet's friend. I ndignant The word "indignant" means "to consider unworthy." This word is used in Hamlet. J ester A jester is a person who entertains the king. It is his job to do so. L aertes Laertes was the son of Poloius.
He was Ophelia's sister. M arcellus L aertes Laertes was the son of Polonius.
He was also Ophelia's brother. M arcellus Marclleus is a soldier. Marcellus saw the
ghost of the King Hamlet with Horatio. N arrator The narrator tells the story of Hamlet.
There is more than one narrator in the story. O phelia K ing Hamlet King Hamlet was killed by his brother.
He died from Claudius pouring poison in his ear. Ophelia is the daughter of Polonius.
She killed herself by drowning in the
pond. P olonius Polonius is a high-ranking lord at
court. He has two children- Ophelia

mother. She died from drinking
a poisoned beverage that was
