Transcript of WOODSTOCK

Safety at Woodstock Festival Poland is provided by the Peace Patrol, a special community of volunteers who are there to offer advice and assistance to all Woodstockers. The Patrollers work hand in hand with a professional security company and with the Polish Police. The officers are always ready to step in if a more serious problem comes up.
THE MEETINGS
ABOUT JUREK
SAFETY
Woodstock Festival Poland is not only about music. Many Woodstock fans come to the event to take part in the Academy of the Finest Arts.
It’s the place where various authorities, including journalists, TV personalities and celebrities come to talk to Woodstockers. What is it that they discuss? Faith, truth, dreams, adventures and all kinds of other interesting subjects.
THE IDEA
THE MUSIC
Woodstock Festival Poland is a huge free summer music festival held the beginning of August in Kostrzyn nad Odrą, Poland.
Every year, Woodstock Festival Poland features a few dozen great bands both from Poland and from all over the world. The guests are invited to perform on one of our two stages: the Main Stage or the Second Stage, sometimes referred to as the Folk Stage.
WOODSTOCK FESTIVAL
The Festival is organized by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation to acknowledge all volunteers and supporters who take part in the annual Grand Finale fundraiser in January.
Jurek, the Orchestra’s conductor, is the mastermind of the festival. He spends a lot of time on the Main Stage, talking to the audience, and announces all concerts. On the last day of the festival he is can’t utter a single word – and that’s not because he has no intriguing thought to share, it’s just because his voice fails him from talking so much!
Although our AFA tents are big enough to accommodate a few thousand people they are never empty!
The festival's motto is "Love, Friendship, and Music".
