Debunking The Hoax As many people were skeptical if the alien auto-
spy was real or not. People have investigated
the film questioning it's authenticity. Santilli claims that the film had been tested and dated as being 1947 vintage but after testing, it was found incorrect. There is and never was any original film of the Roswell crash in 1947. Santilli had little credibility as it was but now he has none. Alien

Hoax By: Thelma Achidi, Joyce Chou, Amira Ishak Alien autopsy was the name given to a hoaxed medical examination and dissection of a dummy depicted in 1995. A businessman from England, Ray Santilli, announced to the world that while researching old film material for a music production, he had obtained military footage of an autopsy performed on one of the alien beings that had died in the crash at Roswell. On August 28th, 1995, TV viewers in the US watched for the first time pathologists carefully dissect what appeared to be an extraterrestrial life form. The Fox Network documentary, Alien Autopsy: Fact Or Fiction, showed what was claimed to be archive footage from 1947. In 2006, Santilli confessed about the hoax.
Sculptor John Humphreys also confessed to being the guy who created the alien that appeared in video. All the alien innards in the film were actually sheep brains, raspberry jam and chicken intestines. The autopsy was not shot on film in 1947 when aliens reportedly landed near Roswell, New Mexico. It was shot on video in 1994. Santilli committed the hoax simply to make fast money. John Humphreys creating the alien prop for the movie. Ray Santilli with the

The Scientific Method could have been used to prevent people from believing the hoax in the first place. The scientific method is something all of us use all of the time. On a daily basis we engage in the basic activities that make up the scientific method; being curious, asking questions, and seeking answers. All people had to do was to simply realize that there was something not adding up about the autopsy video, next they should have questioned it and should have found answers to reveal that it was a hoax. Not everything you see you is real, but the scientific method will eventually reveal the truth. Scientific Method
