This war was fought first between the colonies of British America and New France. The war started in the year of 1689, and ended in the year of 1763. The war was fought first by the frontiers separating New France from the British colonies from Virginia to the Nova Scotia. This was the final colonial war it was called the French and Indian War which is the name given to the American theater of a massive conflict involving Austria, England, France, Great Britain, Prussia, and Sweden called the Seven Years War. The French and Indian War, as it was referred to in the colonies, was the beginning of open hostilities between the colonies and Great Britain, England and France had been building toward a conflict in America since 1689. These efforts resulted in the growth of the colonies from a population of 250,000 in 1700, to 1.25 million in 1750. Great Britain needed raw materials including copper, hemp, tar, and turpentine. They also needed a great deal of money, and so they could give all of these American products be shipped to England.
In between the French and the British, large areas were dominated by native tribes. To the north the Mi’kmaq and the Abenaki still held sway in parts of Nova Scotia, Acadia, and the eastern portions of the Province of Canada and present-day Maine. Most of the fighting between France and Britain in continental North America ended in 1760, while the fighting in Europe continued. The war ended in 1759 when British Major General James Wolfe captured Quebec. result of the war, the British began taxing the colonists to pay for the war. The Puritans were a significant grouping of English Protestants in the 16th and 17th centuries. Religion played an important role in Puritan life, They felt that they were chosen by God for a special purpose and that they must live every moment in a God-fearing manner. The American Revolution lasted for only 6 years. The prime cause of the war was the growing demand of freedom among the Americans. They did not want Great Britain to govern their lives. The war had several effects, The Revolutionary War resulted in an unstable economy in America. Being a full scale war, both sides utilized enormous amounts of supplies. The European nations began a nation of thirteen states which were the thirteen colonies on the Atlantic coast. They came here to increase their wealth in the form of gold, silver, fur, timber, or other natural resources. Some came to escape religious persecution in their homeland. The U.S Constitution The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the United States of America. The Constitution was adopted on September 17, 1787 by John Adams. The first three Articles of the Constitution establish the rules and separate powers of the three branches of the federal government: a legislature, the Congress, and executive branch led by the President.
