Transcript of Sheltered

Sheltered from Condemnation
Romans
8:1-4

Your sanctification doesn’t happen in the withering heat of this life through the deprivation from condemnation but in the sheltered safety of God’s affection
Compassion for our Failures
8:1
Condemnation is the exercise of wrath on the guilty. We are no longer under the wrath of God because we are no longer guilty.

What is the response to the heart that says ‘O wretched man that I am?’ The answer is there is no condemnation for you that are in Christ.

Galatians 5:13-14

“13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Romans 13:8-10

“8 Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”

A Worship Answer
John 15:11

“These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.”

Spirit filled, Spirit led, and Spirit pruned sanctification is far from failure, fatigue, and futility, it is divinely empowered and eternal joy.
John 15:7

“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”
Asking the Father to be enraptured by His love so that you grow in loving Him and others is a guaranteed success.
