Until Abraham Lincoln (which you all know) came slavery was just a way for colonists to do their work. Then Abraham Lincoln came and saves the slaves!!!!
Hi Rohan and Anvith here today we will be talking about Slavery in old America. Europeans took Indians in the 1500's and used them as slaves. In the 1600's Africans were taken to the Americas. There were more slaves than colonists at that time telling that slavery was a big thing. Our opinion is that it was was really unfair treatment and a way for rich people to feel like kings.
In the 1700's colonists and slaves were against slavery. A colonist named Samuel Sewall said " All men have equal rights unto liberty ". There were colonists and people went against slavery and some people supported it, MEAN! Some slaves rebelled against their owners in many ways.
Resistance to Slave®y
Abraham Lincoln: Additional fact
Many Africans were driven from their country and were taken to the colonies, entering slavery. They lost hope of returning to their country because of the cruelty of the colonists. Families got separated to different owners and never saw each other again ,SAD! They died with no food and the got sick. In conclusion you can see that life was extremely difficult for the Africans, what would you do if you were in there place?
