Narrative Planner—"The Pomegranate Seeds"

Character Name: Mother Ceres
Plan the course of events in your narrative.

Exposition
The beginning of the story will start with Proserpina’s mother continuing to plant her crops and suddenly noticing the maidens running towards her from the distance with a worrisome expression to then inform Ceres that her daughter was missing and did not know where she was.
Rising Action
Ceres then reacts by trying to find her daughter by looking for her in the forest that was near where her daughter and maidens were originally walking near and then speaking to the natives who lived around the forest. Ceres feels frustrated and worried when she speaks to the natives and does not find a lead yet to where her daughter is.
Climax
Ceres finds a hole in the forest which she figures that her daughter may be in danger she then follows a trail that starts from where the hole was located which she believes may lead to the location where her daughter may be.
Falling Action
Ceres continues to follow the trail and from a glance sees a palace, she then looks around the palace and sees a Cerberus who at glance begins to run towards her which then Ceres with her mystical powers stops the Cerberus on his tracks as vines pull the beast into the ground as it struggles with fear and is then buried underground with no sound herd. Ceres then enters the palace and hears the voice of her daughter refusing to eat the food or drink what is being offered to her and then hears a man speak continually insisting that she eats his food.
Resolution
Ceres enters the room where she hears the voices and sees her daughter walking back towards a wall away from the man who is approaching her, then with rage. Ceres yells to the man and asked him what is he doing to her daughter and out of surprise the man with guilt in his face explains to Ceres that all he was doing was offering her daughter food and told her that he found her daughter wondering lost in the forest and had decided to bring her to his palace. Ceres immediately signals for her daughter to approach her and then without question, answer or thought uses her mystical powers and cracks open the ground underneath Pluto and strong giant vines begin to tangle around Pluto and with pressure beginning to squeeze Pluto’s body completely with only his head sticking out of the vines and then his body is lifted above the ground, he instantly with fear and desperation begs Ceres to please spare him and with little pity Ceres lets him go of the vines gripe but warns him to never to get near her daughter again or their would be consequences and as he hears those words he responds by agreeing to her words out of the safety of his life. Ceres and her daughter then leave back home and when they arrive her daughter with emotion of relief and fear hugs her mother and tells her “sorry for disobeying your warning“, Ceres then with tears of joy tells her daughter to remember her words always, “Young girls, without their mothers to take care of them, are very apt to get into mischief." And then her daughter with a more understanding face tells her “I will.”
