"So what is deforestation?".
Deforestation is a very long term standing problem in the world. Humans are the main contributing factor. Deforestation is caused by logging, burning, oil drilling, gold digging, soy bean productions, hunting of animals and climate change. Every year about 12-15 hectares of rainforest is destroyed humans. That will be an equivalent of 36 football fields. Deforestation has a big impact on the environment. Most animals on Earth live in the forest, so that means if the Rainforest is destroyed, the animals living there will have no where to live.
