EYouth ... a DREAM TO LIVE Idea Begins Dec. 2010 Revolution Jan-Feb 2011 More than 20 State Alumni Members were engaged and interested in the idea to be submitted as a project in Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) It was about developing new LEADERS to Lead the Egyptian Community It focused on 2 main goals; Democratic Lifestyle and Social Entrepreneurship skills. Resumed Working on the EYouth proposal Proposal submitted by Alaa Obeida, founder and coordinator of EYouth and SUSI- Religious Pluralism - State Alumni 2010. Feb. 2011-April 2011 May 2011 EYouth Project accepted and won the State Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) for 2011 June 2011 -
August 2011 EYouth Survey Development and Distribution 1200 Surveys were collected from all over Egypt and Analyzed August 2011 - May 2012 June 2012 - August 2012 1st to 7th September 2012 A lot of disturbance has been going in Egypt Sept. 2012 - Jan. 2013 Another wave of troubles have been taking place in Egypt delayed our final step of EYouth Initiative; Season I. EYouth; PHASE II EYouth; PHASE I EYouth Summit 2012 EYouth; PHASE III EYouth... A success to be continued - We need to sustain EYouth Initiative to turn it into a sustainable program to be like a social entrepreneurs incubator so we need more financial support to make EYouth; Season II - We want to make EYouth an international initiative engaging more people around the world. - We want to present EYouth idea and its unique methodology and spirit to our peers in the international community to help spreading such a success around the world. The 4 winning projects of the EYouth Summit were chosen and received EYouth Mini-grant to start working.
AND 1 project started working inspite of being not funded!! Egyptian 350 people attended More than 1000 facebook users were GOING We decided to resume working on the Initiative inspite of all the on going problems around taking all the risk to ACHIEVE A VISION WE BELIEVE IN. EYouth PAYING FORWARD CONFERENCE March 16, 2013 OUR TIMELINE Social: "Take A Challenge Initiative" Sexual Harassment Awareness Campaign Economical: "Mushroom Home" economic resource for unemployed disable individuals Cultural and Economical: "Baladeyatna" supporting and encouraging tourism Personal Dev. : "Wake-Up" providing trainings to University Students What is Next?
