Transcript of Mother Teresa

The Life of Mother Teresa By: Jocelyne Moreno Mother Teresa was a very important women in her times. She helped the poor, and fed over 1500 people. She was a very relgious women. She believed everything could be solved with Faith Hope and God in the situation. She always had a bible and a rosary with her in hand. MotherTeresa was a very independent woman. She left her house when she was 18. And went back to India, Where she went to the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary. And chosed to become a Nun the rest of her life. Mother Teresa was an imporant in History because she changed many people's life without giving them money. All she did was have Faith in them. She prayed for them. And her only gift to people was giving them the word of God. And she would help the poor. Mother Teresa had some pretty interesting things happen in her life. For example she didn't have any kids, of course she married God. So she pretty much just had God in her life. Thats it. Also Her middle name, Gonxha means "rosebud" or "little flower" in Albanian. "The fruit of faith is LOVE, and the fruit of love is service" -Mother Tersa.* Mother Teresa was born in Albania and her real name was Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Skopje, Yugoslavia, Her date of birth was August 26, 1910. Five total children were born to Nikola and Dronda Bojaxhiu (Mother Teresa's parents), yet only three survived. Gonxha was the youngest, with an older sister, Aga, and brother, Lazar. Mother Teresa has helped so many people. And shes special because she didnt help people by giving them money like other famous people. She gave them food, and spoke to them about the word of God and how special he is to her. And for myself, i think thats WAY more imporant than any number on a big fancy check. She will always be remebered by her smile, and love for God. She believed that with Hope,Faith and LOVE <3 Anything can be fixed. "If we cannot love the person whom we see; How can we love God whom we cannot see? -Mother Teresa.* Works Cited:

" Being unwanted is the worst disease that any human being could ever experience." -Mother Teresa.* Mother Teresa received Vatican permission on 7 October 1950 to start the diocesan congregation that would become the Missionaries of Charity.
