Now I will show you a top ten list of websites and concepts to make YOUR classroom a whole lot easier. 1. www.edu.glogster.com
Glogster is a very good website to use. It is an online interactive posterboard making site. I mean why go through all the hassle of buying a posterboard and supplies when you can make an even cooler one online for FREE. 2. Googledocs
Googledocs is a free program online that can be use to make and create documents. Now with Googledocs, its on the internet, so multiple people can work on one document at once. Doing team projects would be a lot easier. 3. PANDORA
Pandora is a online radio site. It is completely free and the music can be found on the internet. You can access it anywhere. You don't have to pay to listen to your favorite music. 4. TWITTER
Twitter is a site where you can write short, fun little messages to your friends and family to always know what's going on in their lives. With Twitter you can know what your students are up to when they are NOT in school. 5. CLOUD COMPUTING
Cloud computing is not an actual site but a concept. With cloud computing everything is on the World Wide Web. An example of cloud computing is downloading a movie from the internet. You can do all the same things you used to do but on a computer. 6.RSS
RSS is pretty much online subscriptions.
With RSS if you subscribe to any websites all their new information will be sent to you automatically when it comes out. You could have students apply to a website that you have and RSS would send them the latest info. 7.FLICKR
Flickr is a site that is used to make stories using pictures. With Flickr there is a whole new way for your students to complete projects. I'm sure they are tired of all the old stuff. 8.BOOKMARKS
Bookmarks is like a list of all your favorite websites. There are certain websites on the internet that will save all your bookmarks so that you could access them anywhere. Students could always have your links. 9.Wikis
There is a very cool thing about Wikipedia.com They're called Wikis. When you write a wiki you are actually writing your own webpage. You could write notes on a Wiki for students to look at when they're home on the internet. 10.Podcasts/Webcasts
Podcasts are short little videos that can be uploaded to your devices so you can listen to them anywhere. You could make your lessons into pocasts for students to always have on thei devices such as ipods and cellphones. Thanks for watching my Prezi!
