Mythology
The ancient greeks told stories about their gods . These stories are called myths ( short for mythology , or stories about gods . )
The world of the ancient Greek gods was a world full of bickering , fights , wars , compromise , fear , fun , punishment and love .
The thing about myths are that the god's might change , depending upon the story teller , but the personalities and power of the gods remained consistent .
Greek myths are full of terrible monsters that heroes cleverly kill .
Greek heroes had killed them using intelligence , courage , and strength (which the hero wins , of course ! )
