Circulatory System
Transports blood through body

Blood delivers oxygen and food to cells

Blood takes away the cells' waste

Three main parts are the heart, blood, and blood vessels

Powered by the heart
Respiratory System
Brings oxygen into body

Removes carbon dioxide

Breathing! You need to breathe!

Airway
Lungs
Muscles
Digestive System
Breaks down food for your cells to use

Convert food into energy and nutrients to feed the entire body

Need food for growth and development

Food enters your mouth, goes to your stomach, and passes through the small intenstine, then large intestine before turned into waste.

Protects many organs

Includes all of the bones and joints in the body

By the time that you are an adult, you will have 206 individual bones!
