Downloading an editable PEZ file

Take your presentations on the go. A PEZ file is a downloadable file for use with Prezi Classic Desktop that you can edit and send. It’s also a great way to create an editable backup.

Downloading a PEZ using Prezi.com

  1. Go to your dashboard. Find the prezi you want to export and hover over it.
  2. Click View prezi to go to the prezi’s view page.
  3. Click Download in the buttons listed below the prezi. You’ll get a pop-up window with options.
  4. Choose Editing and Presenting and click Download. You’ll see the file being downloaded.
  5. Once the file has downloaded, it will end with the file extension .pez.

Downloading a PEZ file using Prezi Classic Desktop for Windows

  1. Find the prezi you want to export. Click on the three dots in the lower right corner of the prezi.
  2. Select Export to prezi file.
  3. You will be prompted to name the file. Name your file and choose where to save it.
  4. Click Save.

Downloading a PEZ file using Prezi Classic Desktop for Mac

  1. Find the prezi you want to export. Click on the three dots in the lower right corner of the prezi.
  2. Select Export to prezi file (.pez).
  3. You will be prompted to name the file. Name your file and choose where you want to save it.
  4. Click Save.

Once you download a PEZ file, you’ll need Prezi Classic Desktop to open it. For information on importing a PEZ file, click here for Windows and here for Mac.
