Sharing Prezis

This support page is about Prezi Classic. If you’re looking for help with Prezi Next, please click here.

Now that you’ve created your amazing prezi, it’s time to share it with a friend, colleague, or even the world. Watch the video to learn how you can share your prezi.

Enjoy, Edu Enjoy, Pro, Edu Pro, and Pro Plus license holders can share their prezis by specifically adding an editor or viewer or allow others to only view their hidden prezis by sharing their prezi’s link. Please note that you can only add someone as an editor or viewer if that person has a Prezi Classic account.

The choices you see when it comes to making your prezi available for reuse depend on which Prezi Classic license you have.

Adding an editor or viewer

  1. From your prezi dashboard, click on the three dots in the lower right corner. You’ll get the options menu.
  2. Select Privacy and sharing to get the pop-up window.
  3. Click Collaborators to expand the section.
  4. Type the name or email address of the person you wish to add as an editor or viewer, and select Editor or Viewer to set the user’s status.
  5. Click Add when you’re done. You’ll see a note indicating an email has been sent.

Remember that you can't send a link that will allow someone to edit a prezi. Users who receive prezis in this way can only view it.

  1. From your prezi dashboard, click on the three dots in the lower right corner. You’ll get the options menu.
  2. Select Privacy and sharing to get the pop-up window.
  3. Click Share to expand the section and get the prezi’s link.
  4. Copy and paste the link into a message and send it to your viewer.

Changing rights and removing people from a prezi

  1. From your prezi dashboard, click on the three dots in the lower right corner. You’ll get the options menu.
  2. Select Privacy and sharing to get the pop-up window.
  3. Choose Collaborators to expand the section.
  4. Click the three dots next to the user’s name.
  5. You’ll get the following options: viewer, editor, and remove. Click the option you’d like to change to.

Allowing someone to duplicate your prezi

If you are an Enjoy, Edu Enjoy, Pro, Edu Pro, or Pro Plus License holder, you can enable a user with access to your prezi to duplicate it. If you allow someone to duplicate your prezi, it means the user can make his or her own version and edit it as they wish, without changing the contents of your prezi. Allowing someone to duplicate a prezi can be useful when working on a group project.

To allow a user to duplicate your prezi, just tick the box that reads “Allow others to duplicate this prezi” located in the “Share” pop-up window. When you do so, only people who have access to your prezi can duplicate it.
