Using Themes

This support page is about Prezi Classic. If you’re looking for help with Prezi Next, please click here.

Whenever you create a prezi, you can adjust the colors, fonts, and background of your prezi using the Customize sidebar. Check out our tutorial to learn more about using themes in Prezi Classic.

Changing Themes

Click Customize to change your theme.

Theme choices include a background, frame colors, and three preset fonts. Click on any of the preset styles to apply it to your prezi. You’ll see the prezi change immediately.

If you don't like a theme, you can choose a different one or revert to your original theme by clicking Revert to original in the upper left corner of the sidebar at any time.

Choosing a background

Choose a color from the palette to change your background. If there’s an image on your background, you can erase it by clicking the trashcan icon.

Fine tuning a theme

You can customize your themes using the Theme Wizard. To customize a theme, click Advanced at the bottom of the customize sidebar.

This will open the Theme Wizard pop-up window.

From here you can modify your background, add a custom logo, change fonts, and adjust the color settings for fonts and shapes. Enter RGB codes into the Theme Wizard to get the exact color you want. If you want an easier way, just click Wizard in the lower left corner and select Next until you get to the category you want to edit.

3D Background

In the Theme Wizard, you can upload up to three images to use as a 3D background.

For more details on how to do this, click here.

Enjoy, Pro, and Edu Pro license holders can upload a custom logo to appear on your prezi using the Theme Wizard.

For more details on how to do this, click here.

NOTE: Adding a custom logo currently only replaces the Prezi Classic logo in “Present” mode on online and portable prezis. The Prezi Classic logo will still be present in embedded prezis.

Fonts & Colors

You can also select the font of your choosing from the drop-down menu and your desired color from the palette to the right.

Shapes

From here you can select colors for your frames, arrows, and the highlighter tool.

From here, you can also add your company colors to your theme by entering the exact RGB values for each color that you want to use. To fine-tune your prezi even further, you can access the CSS editor from this window. For a tutorial on how to use the CSS Editor, click here.

Saving a theme

Once you have adjusted your theme to your exact specifications, you can then save the theme to your theme library, making it easy to reuse in other prezis.

Select Customize from the top menu. Scroll down and click Save current theme.

You will then see your theme appear under “Your themes,” ready to use again in the future. Please note you can save up to five themes.

Getting a corporate branded theme

Custom corporate branded themes are advanced features available for Prezi for Teams accounts. These custom themes provide an opportunity to take your brands fonts, colors, and logos and have them readily available to all team members in the Prezi Classic editor.

This means you could create custom colors for shapes, arrows, lines, and frames.

Custom corporate branded themes are created by the Prezi Classic design force and will be put into your team’s editor. This will make your team prezis even easier to create, allowing you to focus on the content.
