Adding Transitions (Animations)

This support page is about Prezi Classic. If you’re looking for help with Prezi Next, please click here.

What some people call Prezi Classic's animations, we like to call transitions. Going from one context to the next is completely automated, so moving through your prezi is a breeze. Look through the prezi below for a demonstration.

To pan, zoom, and rotate as you move through your prezi, you’ll first need to set up a path that will take your viewers on their journey through your presentation. To do so, just place your content on your canvas, frame your content, and then put those frames in order.

You can change how far and quickly Prezi Classic moves around your content by how you position your content. If you place items close to each other, the movement is more subtle. If objects are placed far from each other, the movement is more dramatic. Adjust your frames according to proximity, rotation, and scale/zoom to set how your transitions will be.

For a further explanation and more ideas on how you can use Prezi Classic's transitions, check out our official Prezi Classic tutorial.

Transitions are really great for something we call "The Big Reveal."Check out this video to learn about this useful technique.
