"Mind Mapping" Method
Literary Elements in "The Most Dangerous Game"
copy and paste as needed and take advantage of an infinite canvas!
Write the primary idea of the mind map in the center. Use different color notes to differentiate between topics. Use lines and arrows to create branches that connect ideas to each other.
Simile: a comparison using the words "like" or "as"
Metaphor: a comparison between two things
setting: the place and time when the work takes place
Protagonist: the main character; who we (the reader) focus on
Antagonist: the person or thing pitted against our protagonist
conflict: the problem in the plot.
Can be between:
• two characters
• the main character and nature
• the main character and himself

point of view: the position from which the text is presented
