Tyler Perry: Background Info
Born in the hard streets of New Orleans, Tyler Perry was bound to face a vast amount of unfortunate events. Growing up, Perry faced abuse in many ways such as emotional, physical and sexual. Fortunately, Perry has gone on to better things in life and now lives the American dream.
Living the American Dream: One

One: Tyler Perry has grown very successful by writing books, plays and movies. Many have movies have hit first in the movie boxes and have received many awards. Tyler Perry is worth an estimated $78 million dollars.
Living the American Dream: Two

While Perry may have faced many obstacles while growing up he continued to self motivate himself and continue a relationship with God which helped him achieved the goal to go from rags to riches.
Living the American Dream: Three

Along with living the American dream comes the idea of self improvement. While Perry can just stop working and live off the money he has already made he chooses to continue working and looks forward to his next project.
