The Heart Beat of Who You Really Are
Spiritual Purity:
Today is a refreshing topic...
Like Lemonade it makes you feel all good on the inside
Matthew 23:25-26
New International Version (NIV)
25 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.
So What is the Goal for Spiritual Purity?
Complete allegiance/devotion to God & God alone
(Ex. 20.3-4 & Mt. 22.37 & Rom. 12.1)

We can Achieve Spiritual Purity by...
Changing our Hearts to be good
Training our thoughts to be pleasant
Forcing our actions to be selfless
Motivating ourselves to honor God in all we do
Finding our purpose in how God created us
Our life is an overflow of what is inside of us
Heart, Soul, and Mind...
But how do we do that?
What do you think....
Most Honest Answer: Its not about the success seen on the outside by the effort going on inside!

I probably should have shown you this first...
Nah...im just messin....
My recent Story of my friend JS:
"I hope you don't think less of me....

In Fact i think more of you - because your trying...
Why did i think more of him?
We have no hope in achieving Purity at all unless we seek it from our hearts.
Our actions are an overflow of what we place at the center of who we are...I am a believer that the sins we make in life are never really COMPLETELY on accident...
But why would it matter if i did do that?
What does it change about the lemonade?

Why would it matter what is really inside you? Why does it matter if your angry? Hateful? Lusting? Prideful?
