According to some researches:
-The Mary Celeste was found on December, 4th, 1872, floating 600 miles off Gibraltar.
-The boat was on perfect condition, only that crewless.
-The only two things missing besides the crew were a chronometer and the ship's papers.
-Some reportes said that bloodied weapons had been found beside blood stains.
-The lifeboat was stilln strapped to the ship when it was found

Theory 1: The entire crew may have been swept overboard by a large wave

Theory 2: the 'Mary Celeste' got too close to a burning ship on its way to aid it.



Theory 3: The ship Dei Gratia (which salvaged the 'Mary Celeste') took the ship and then took credit for saving it.

Theory 4: the crew escaped because the liquor broke open and in the journey on the saving boat, they died.
