Transcript of Elise Cleary
My mom is supportive because she lets me be me. Even though she would never get up on a stage, in front of a lot of people, and sing, she encourages me in doing that, because I love it.
Quality #3: Brave
My mom is brave because she's not afraid to be herself. For example, she has converted one of our bedrooms into a walk in closet, and doesn't care if people make fun of her for it, like my dad often does.
Quality #1: Trust
My mom shows me trust because she lets me tell her secrets and she won't tell anybody. She also keeps all of her promises towards me. For example, she told me that she would always be there for me, and she is.
Quality #4: Helpful
My mom is helpful because she helps me through my problems. If I don't know what to do she will help me make a decision.
Quality #5: Thoughtful
My mom is thoughtful because she is always thinking about our family. For example, when she and my dad go on a trip without me they text me and bring me back gifts.
Advice from My Hero
What advice can you give me about
making personal decisions in life?
What should I do to resist peer pressure?
"You don't need to give in to peer pressure, your real friends will like you regardless."
Who is your hero? Why?
"Steve Yzerman, he was a great leader. He believed in himself and his team when no one else did."
