We are here to help you!
Mrs. Lyons, is the BHMS Media Specialist (School Librarian).
She is here every morning.
Mrs. Edelman is the BHMS Media Clerk. She is here every day.
Anytime the school is open!
You'll need a pass if you come without
a teacher during class.
You will need to either know your id number
or have your id with you.
We love to see you!
Limit of 2 books.
Book Check out is for two weeks.
If you have overdue books, you need to return the overdue books before you check out a new book.
Reference books can be checked out overnight.
Magazines are checked out overnight.
If the book that you want is checked out, you can put a hold on it or request a copy from another school.
See Mrs. Lyons or Mrs. Edelman
for help with this.
Where is everything?
Fiction books are to your right,
when you are facing the circulation desk.
Nonfiction books are to the
left of the circulation desk.
Reference books are to the left of the circulation desk. They are on the front side of the shelves facing the tables. You may check them out overnight.
Magazines are displayed on the fiction side near the everybody books. The magazines available for check out are on the freestanding cart to the right of the circulation desk.
Everybody books and Graphic Novels are to the right of the circulation desk and near the windows.
The library is a quiet area. You are welcome to talk, in an
appropriate voice level.
Covered drinks are allowed, but food is not.
If you come without your teacher, you will need a pass.
Treat library materials with respect.
