Steps to Becoming a
While she was getting an education at Penn State she suffered a near fatal health scare in the preparation for the NCAA soccer championship.After experiencing shortness of breath Krieger went to the hospital as a precaution.This decision saved her life,as clots in her lungs were affecting blood flow and had triggered six mini heart attacks.She recover fully.
Later after that she moved to Frankfurt.
In 2007 Ali moved to Frankfurt,Germany to play for FFC Frankfurt.She spent five years there and learned many great skills and techniques.
In 2010 she was named on the 18 player roster for the CONCACAF world cup qualifiers.
In the FIFA world cup she scored the 5th decisive penalty kick in the world cup quarterfinals.
Krieger was named on the CONCACAF olympic qualifying roster,but she suffered an ACL and MCL tair.This injury jeopardized her participation in the 2012 London Summer Olympics.
Alexandra Blaire Krieger was born in Virginia on July 28,1984
When she went to high school she led her teams as a captain to the first undefeated regular season,and was named twice the all Virginia AAA selection.
She went to Penn State University.
During her time there she was a team captain and was a two time All-american,a first team MSCAA All American,Co defensive player of the year,Big-Ten Freshman of the year,and a semifinalist for the Hermann Trophy.
Soon she became a champion at a professional level.

After five years in Germany she came back to the United states and made her first appearance with the national team in 2008.
With this game under her belt she felt more comfortable and ready to do anything.
