STRUCTURED PROGRAMMING
A structure chart is ideally a map of your program which shows how variables pass data between modules in a program.

is a diagram that depicts the “flow” of a program.
PROGRAM LOGIC FORMULATION
process of coming up with the appropriate methodology in developing a specific program logic that will perform a prescribed computing task or solve a problem using the computer.
ASSIGNMENT
1 whole sheet of paper:

Create a simple flowchart of the 3 flowchart structure.

STEP 1:
Place the main module as the root of an upside-down tree.
STEP 2:

STEP 4:
Determine the set of tasks necessary for solving the problem.
Place these below the root and connect the root to each task.
Break down each task into even smaller tasks if necessary.
BASIC FLOWCHART SYMBOLS
TERMINAL (rounded rectangles)
-indicate a starting or ending point.
