There are so many good stories to tell out of Sterling Heights, whether related to city services, public safety, regional economic development or the thoughtful and caring residents in our city. With dwindling media coverage, Community Relations is focused on seeking and telling the good stories on our own platforms for our citizens and businesses to see.

With the 2030 Visioning Plan in mind, the city launched its new logo and slogan this year. In the 2015-16 budget year, this logo will compliment and enhance increased marketing efforts for new residents, prospective businesses and more.

New light pole banners for along Utica Road near City Hall

Community Relations to help City reinstate "Employee Recognition Dinner" in October 2015
Group of city employees working to revamp the "Wellness Committee"
Wellness Committee hosted City Hall Egg Hunt as well as Detroit Tigers Opening Day luncheon, both with great attendance and enthusiasm
Community Relations to begin monthly employee recognition program, to kick-off in summer 2015
