Here are some good examples of different yaoi.
What is Yaoi?
also known as Boys' Love, is a Japanese genre of fictional media focusing on homoerotic male sexual relationships, usually created by female authors.
Different types of Yaoi Genres.
Yaoi- which revolves around a male x male relationship between both gay men or some times a one sided love between a gay man x straight man involving sexual content and rated for people 18 and over~.

Shonenai- is a male x male relationship between the same type of couples but it focuses more on the couples relationship and plot and is more suitable for all ages with no sex scenes and filled with sweet love and kisses. The most innocent in the yaoi world.
Bara- it can vary in visual style and plot, but typically features masculine men with varying degrees of muscle, body fat, and body hair, akin to beefcakes, or bears in gay culture.
and finally the most feared and most disturbed yaoi of all.
Shotacon- sometimes shortened to shota, is a Japanese slang of the phrase Shōtarō complex and describes an attraction to young boys, usually from an adult individual.
Seme- The male that tops in the relationship also known as the pitcher, dominant, or in it's japanese meaning, the 'attacker'.
Uke- The male that bottoms in the relationship, as well known as the catcher, submissive, and it's original term as the receiver.
