The great theologian Karl Rahner SJ developed six characteristics of what it means to be truly human. He believed that these applied to all people in all times and places.
Freedom
Capacity for
Relationship with God
We exist is a particular time and place.
We shape our culture and are shaped by it.
We change
We are also
SPIRIT.
We are
reflective.
We are always striving for something more.
We go beyond ourselves in love and knowledge
We are all
INTERCONNECTED.
We are affected by other people.

GRACE
