STUDENTS' UNION rEPRESENT oPPORTUNITy Support cAMPAIGN "Dragon Slayer" Levi Roots came to the College to raise aspirations
as part of the SU organised "Money Week" Sports Relief was a key part
of RAG this year We started the year with an
Activities Fair with over 30 stalls This year RAG raised over £4000 We got students involved in our
College Christmas Card Blue Monday is an event in January aimed at
postive mental health through music and fun Canterbury College has 4500 FT and 4500 PT students In July 2009 we were one of LSIS' top 5
Representative Organistations of the Year Working with the College Management team
we built this Video Diary Room As well as a SMS text system for all Students Regular Meeting with Class Reps allowed us
to prioritse campaigns "Meet the Managers" event
with 10 managers and 100 reps Principal Alison Clarke and SU President Jordan Gosbee
meeting reps and discussing improvements to College Life We have been very active in NUS events
throughout the year Including a full delgation at National Conference Elections are key to
the success of the SU Video about our work with "Canterbury United" and fight fees Our success in supporting our students in 2012 Reiss Evans was the
eventual winner Student Support Campaign #1
